I do remember and love these post! Heck! I love all your posts! I do want to ask where your sis found her small kitchen island! I have always wanted an island but my kitchen seems too small but it looks like she has as much space as I do! Please let me know! Looking forward to a new year of awesome stuff! These are great posts! I am fairly new to blogland so I am catching up on all of your old stuff. I too use "glassless" frames and paint anything I can, and I absolutely love your stacked mirrors, awesome style!

I seriously love you. I just can't help myself. Just to let you know, the photo of the 2 chairs by the window (The Best Three Dollars I Have Ever Spent) has been my inspiration the last few days. My husband has several days off for the Holidays and I am making that boy work! That photo is my desktop background. No joke. Scary? Sad? I don't care. I love it. And I too, will have it. Oh yes, I will. :) Thanks for sharing!!!

Love, love, love your blog! A friend turned me on to it, and I really need to give her a big 'Thanks!'

Following your inspiration, I created and hung 2-story curtains for my living room yesterday and mistreatments for my breakfast room windows tonight...after my son went to bed. I love how that sounds - "Oh, yes. I made those in an hour after my toddler was in bed." LOL

My house is so happy now and I'm really searching for new places to add more fabric. Thanks for the confidence I needed to do this!

Hello lovely!

What a great year it's been. I've completely enjoyed your posts and look to next year for more inspiration without too much perspiration!

Keep up the good work. I was hoping to make it to blissdom '09 to hear you and Melissa speak but... the big 12 passenger van decided to die on the way to church and it looks like I'll be reading up on all the post blissdom reports. CHURCH!! You'd think I'd get some kind of mechanical blessing for that!

*sigh* I love your style. I've been following your blog for a short time now and am so jealous (in a good way) of your ability to see things for what they can be. I shudder to think how many adorable frames, shutters, etc I have passed up because they weren't cute. If only I could see past the current appearance to the beauty just begging to be appreciated...

How apt, how very fitting indeed. I specially appreciated the idhtbptbb post and pics. I have the post-Christmas"rearranging itch" and am contemplating a big, bare wall along with a small, bare, budget. Your ideas fit the bill nicely. Thanks again!

Fave garage sale buy.....
We happened on a crafter completely by accident, and sold my mother and I all her Idea notebooks, with all her magazine clippings. SCORE! She was a shabby chic person, and her clipping have all the most lovely ideas. 14 huge 3-ring binders for $5. Best ever. My mother and I were giddy for DAYS!

Just came to your blog from Dara Albert's and HOLY CRAP! If your sister's "Ye Olde Kitchen" is in Greensboro WE ALMOST BOUGHT THAT HOUSE! We were a day late and a dollar short, but I loved that little house. :) Small world...
