Tassel Tutorial :: Coming Soon!

Get your fringe, ribbon and toppers ready. If my plan works, and I can make it through the horrendous process of writing, photographing, and being disciplined, I'll soon finish something.

It's an ebook. A tassel how to ebook. And not just any tassel tutorial, it's the Nester's Complete, Ultimate Guide to Making the Most Beautiful, Proportional, Fluffy and Full Tassels That People Will Fight Over; For You to Sell or Give Away. I'm still working on the title.

This is not a simple tutorial, this ebook will tell of my tips, techniques and resources. If all goes according to my plan, it should be available November 23rd, which should give you plenty of time to make tassels for Christmas gifts.

If all doesn't go as planned, I'm just going to pretend like this post never happened.

So yay! Be encouraged! Your ebook will be loved and appreciated!

Amy said...

Woohoo! I guess this now saves me the expense of having to buy one of your tassels, only to completely take it apart at my mad attempt to figure out how you make them, then never, ever be able to put it back together again like the Nester. Seriously, I have many times contemplated doing just that to try and figure out how you make them. Thank you soooo much for doing this. I want tassels all over my house!!! :)

Oh Nester! I'm sooo excited! I can't wait. I've been just dying to make one of those tassels for soooo long. Oh my goodness, I'm all tingly with excitement. I think I'll make on for my truck! What do you think?

Maybe a I can get a hammer to put on top! Or a little plastic table-saw! Do you think I could find one of those? Or maybe a tape measure! It could be a working tape measure! And I could hang it from my belt!

That sounds great! I just can't wait.

A tape measure tassel... sigh.

:-)

Schmoomom said...

GASP!!! I never thought of that! I have a truck! I could make a tassel for my truck-WITH A TRUCK ON IT!!!

Of course, I still would love to own my own "Nester" tassle. Now, I'll be able to make a few to match my home.

Blessings to you tenfold!!!
