Apparently Blogger broke over the weekend and now it's close to impossible to upload, download, or in my case overload photos. I CANNOT do a post without pictures. Why, why? Why can't the word part be broken? I could SO do a post without words.
So, I cannot tell you about the fantastic sale that my sister and I went to on Saturday or about the glorious fringe and trim that I bought. I cannot tell you about the wedding that I'm decorating for this Saturday and show you the GIGANTIC centerpiece that is taking over the NASCAR room and frightening my boys. I can't show you a fun grouping of metal stars that I made from taking stars down from every room in my house and then painted with a paper towel and put up over the piano. I cannot tell you about the toaster strudel I'm about to eat or the iced coffee I'm drinking.
I cannot and I will not. I'm sorry. I'll be back as soon as the photo thing is working. Until then, go read a blog or two that has words that are fun to read by themselves like Chatting at the Sky or Bye Bye Pie. Two of my favorites.

Oh, you better be figuring out a way to post those stars. That's all I'll be able to think about now. That and the toaster strudel.
Ya know Blogger has been a little weird lately...server issues, etc. We better back-up our bloggies and back em up often. I'm a little scared it's all going to go Poof! Looking forward to your pics!
Hehe...when you said you painted stars with a paper towel...is that some creative new technique? Or is it because you didn't have a paint brush? I have painted so many things with paper towels due to lack of brush. But maybe your's was a "technique" thing, right? Can't wait to see 'em!

Please post pictures as soon as you're able! I love stars and centerpieces and coffee and all the other great decorating things you post here.
I had the same problem. I went to Tools (on Mozilla) and cleared the Cache. Sometimes that helps with pictures.
It did help. I was able to post pics even though it was much slower than usual.
Oh no you say no pictures.
It's Monday, there is that dreaded time change stuff and now no pictures from the Nester.
I must go back to bed!!!
I have had the same problem. I have a post to put up but no pictures will upload. I just can't post it without pictures. By the way I need to see the stars thing.

alas, I wanted to post the fab pics of the foyer upstairs and downstairs where we painted...yes painted the knotty pine paneling that has been casting darkness over our home for so long and I couldnt get the pictures to load either.
I will check back because I am so looking forward to your inspirations!

I'm new to your blog, but I wanted to let you know that I spent the entire weekend reading every single post. Yes, all the way back. You inspire me to throw out everything I own and start over (which of course, I can't do). Or at least, I should buy a hot glue gun (that is how behind I am! I don't even own one!).

I discovered (at MIDNIGHT last night) that it will upload them ONE at a time. Of course--the 5 other times I tried to upload my 5 photos and it errored on me somehow pushed my storage from 11%-15%--not very happy about that!
I can do with a little anticipatory waiting though. Kind of like waiting for your favorite TV show to come back....

I know just how you feel! I lost my camera just after I started my blog, and just found it this Friday-and then I had no batteries! I was so thrilled you stopped by my blog, and so mad that I had no decent pictures to back up all my homemaking talk! What is a blog without pictures??

I was so happy to read this post! I just posted something on my blog about how it was taking me forever to post pictures... one at a time! (I almost always do 5). I just got a new camera and I thought that it was because of that. Yea that it's just blogger! You made my day!
