Congrats lady! You are such a cutie, and who wouldn't love a girl in a photo with big fat lush hydrangeas? I had such fun reading over all of your comments and you have not let me down in all of your shameless begging, pleading and well worded compliments. I let my son pick a number between 1 and 220 and Amber is the winning number.
If you have a few minutes to spare, fly on over to Amber's blog or even Amber's other blog and say hi. From what I gather she and her new husband are currently raising support so they can continue their ministry with Campus Crusade--a great organization. I'm not 100% sure that's accurate but, I know they are raising support for something and it seems like a great cause so if you have a wad of extra money left over after bidding on all my junk on ebay and cannot decide if you want to burn it or throw it out the window, why not give it to them? Oh, and she is very talented too! Check out this post and see what she did to a piece that she found on Craigslist--I'm dying to know how little she paid for it!

Well, congrats to Amber. I guess since she's philanthropical and all and doin' stuff for a good 'cause we can't be jealous of her. I think you should make some kind of a rule though that she has to show us her finished garland. That would totally make up for the rest of us not winning.
Congrats Amber!! I bought a starter kit like yours off etsy, maybe we should make them up, take pics and see how different they ended up looking! Or would that be weird? Maybe.

Ok, ok. Since inquiring minds want to know (and especially for you, Nester!) I'll share that I got the armoire for $50. I really got a great deal! It is a HEAVY piece of solid wood furniture. Too bad that I think I could have gotten it for less just for hauling it out of the guys' garage for him, but I didn't realize that until after we were loading it in truck. Live and learn. :)
(I don't typically go around sharing how much I paid for things, ;) but I have definitely wondered before when I hear someone saying they got a great deal, "how great of a deal did they really get?")
I will share pictures of my completed garland on my blog when it's done! I promise. But, I will let you know ahead of time that I am going to be out of town most of May, so there will be a bit of a delay before my fingers can get to work! :)
