Okay, so two days ago I stole an urn from the bathroom (which had been holding my toilet bowl brush...I cleaned it!) to make a stick object d'art like yours. And two weeks ago I bought your nest stamp and did the same thing in a frame.
I hope you realize that imitation is the best form of flattery.* Thank you for sharing yourself with us!
Why don't you make some signs for your Etsy shop (for all of us to buy) that say...
Love the urn! I've been wondering how you attach your plates to the wall? It's obviously some kind of clever hanger, but I've never seen them for sale? I'd love to hang some of my china collection, but I don't want to put holes in anything! lol
Oh Girlfriend, this urn is stinkin' cute! I've been eyeing the garden section markdowns at work waiting for low to go ridiculously low but I may just have to grab one before they are gone because I'm sure everyone will be snapping them up after being inspired by you.
JP--I know, a month ago my boys came running in the house with a brand new freshly made real birds nest! I was so sad and we talked about how birds make their nest and all but I kept it because I knew after them playing with it that bird will NEVER come back.
Songbirdt--you so have me trying to think of the worst thing that you could decorate with a birds nest hmmmmm....maybe your toaster, toilet seat, gosh I cannot come up with a ridiculous use for a pretty birds nest! Glued to your toothbrush?
I have an urn aka candle holder just like that... and now I know what to do with it! I've been drooling over your blog ever since I found it yesterday. I too designed Barbie mansions well into jr. high and I think "lazy perfectionist" gives a vivid picture of your personality :) I am totally fascinated with your "mistreatments" and I am going to email you a photo of an area of my home that desperately needs one... help! Thank you for blogging, you've made my day! ~ Emilie
Nester! Now look what you've gone and done. I was at Michael's the other day and debated whether to get some cute urns on clearance. I resisted. Guess who was standing at the door at Michael's when they opened this morning? And the urns were still there! Now I'm the proud owner of three of them.
Love the pear tassel and made the leap and bought it! I can't wait to get it! Never ever buy off line, but couldn't resist. Look forward to seeing more of your newly decorated home. Blessings, Margaret
sheesh lady! You rock! I love your stuff. You are so creative and where do you find the time with 3 boys?!!! I have 2 and can hardly keep my floors clean.
HI, I'm having alot of trouble signing onto you site and just love you ideas. I get kicked of and told I'm mis spelled something. Doesn't make sense to me. Have you heard this before. I just love you garland and erns. I'd really love to visit more often. I've gotten here by other blogs links to your specific projects, but I can't view the blog as a whole...

"This home brought to you by the Nester"
You are so creative - could you send me over some of that creativity, please?

Any plans for teaching us how to make the tassels ? They are so cute.
Nice blog.

Who would have thunk it? LOVE, LOVE the tassels on the urn. And I heart urns too!
Love the urn... and I have been obsessing over my thermostat, doorbell cover, and cool air return for the last 24 hours.
Now I'm also going to be wanting to run out and look for more
urns:-)
Oh, hey, I also wonder (like the previous commenter) how ou hang your plates ont he walls. Just curious.
You know, I've never really paid attention to urns before. I'm going hunting now! Love it.
Now that is some serious cuteness! I love urns too.
Very cute! I would like to know what DOESN'T look cute holding a nest with eggs? :)
Are you out stealing those poor birds' nests again :)?!
Very cute!
That is really cute - I'm going to get myself some urns now. Not sure at all where they will go, but I'm getting some!!

Off to crash my parents pool--later ladies!
I heart your blog! I decided not to be a stranger any more. Thanks for all your decorating advise. I'll be checking back...cheers.

What an ADORABLE idea to give it a personal custom touch!

I just came over to listen to your music while I catch up on my email.
Yes, I am using you for your music.
I heart the stamp in the frame! Of course, the urn is none too shabby, either.
Oh man! Now you've got me thinking about all of the things that I can hot glue pom pom fringe onto.
That candleholder. That shelf. That cake stand. That child who just ran by.
And thanks for the sweet comment, by the way.

Hmmm thats pretty cool!!
I heart hot glue!
this little urn turned out adorable-great job!
I collect the urns that NO ONE wants to buy, and as weird as this sounds, I'd like to figure out a way to use Nester's tassels for personalization.
