My Baby

When I found out I was expecting my third child less than three months after giving birth to my second boy, I cried. For real. Not because I didn't want any more children, I did. But, although my pregnancies are healthy I'm miserably nauseous and the memory of the previous one was entirely too fresh.

Now, this sweet child brings me such joy. He's got my personality so we get along swell. And you know how we mom's are about out baby. Especially when that baby is a boy. Poor thing.

And, I think he bears a certain resemblance to someone famous in my world.

2006 HGTV Design Star David Bromstad

Are you on to me yet? I left my camera downloading cord thing at my sister's house last week. Hate me. Hi, Ima Dork. I've been making due without it but I cannot wait to show you the next installment of the tour, the most fantastic goodwill find EVER and I even have a small number of tassels and garlands to list. It's in the mail, thanks to Emily.

What a doll he is. Lucky mommy! But he is lucky, as well. :)

Met your husband this weekend at the Bumper Man convention. He is a hoot. My husband works with Caleb in Raleigh. We missed you. Maybe next year. Love your blog. When I met your husband I said, "Your the Nester's husband. Love her." I have done several mistreatments and have gotten a lot of compliments. About to do the plate thing, maybe with some stenciling. We will see. Keep up the good work.

Your son is adorable! I was thinking that he looks a lot like you. :)

I am very familiar with Dave. I am about the same age as he is and we worked at the same summer camp when we were (much) younger. He was as sweet and friendly then as he seems to be now. He is so talented...I love to watch his show.

Can't wait to see the rest of your home tour. God bless.

What a little he♥rt breaker that cute little man is! And I love your window mistreatment you did at your sisters! I'm still drooling over the pictures.

I'm stuggling with the issue of what color to paint my dang TV hutch black/white I don't know. I just posted a poll on my blog about it. So far it's half and half. Talk about no help. Sigh... Can't I just hire you to come tell me what to do? :):):)

Can't wait to see your finds. I'm sure they are amazing.

He is so cute! I would have cried too if I had gotten pregnant just three months after having mine. I would have been freaking out, because I was still NOT adjusted at all to taking care of a newborn and everything that went along with it. So I can relate with you on that!

He's adorable!

Your post made me think of 2 things...

1. Do any of the contestants (past/present) have blogs that we can check out?

2. Are you going to try to get on the show? You would do so good, that would be so exciting for all of us out in blogland ;)

PS: Thank goodness for USPS!!! :)

How cute!

I saw the newest mistreatment on your sister's blog. I can't find a "how to" for that style--I would love to know how to get this look in our home!

I come here close to every day and the boy is bringing me out of hiding to comment. He is quite the little cutie and the picture of him sleepy in the robe would make any mommy swoon. I think he looks alot like his mommy.
I also wanted to mention I took my first stab at making my own garland for our playroom. It doesn't look near as lovely as yours do, but not bad. I am saving my pennies to buy one from you. I must have an "original".

Emily has a problem with her blog, girl. Tell her to do some work in photobucket.

I had a great GW trip this weekend... but instead of STUFF I got 5 dresses... of course, I dont WEAR dresses... but for $4.50 a piece I could probably paint in them, right?

Miss Nester......You should write about that pg testing day....
I can only imagine how the Pg testing went tat day. Did you tell your Hubby y to sit down before you broke that news? Or did your Dr break the news to you by having you sit down. My girls are 19 months apart and I thought that they were close. LOL

He is such a cutie.

I think you could sell your creative help to people like me. I think you should do a conference and we could all come and make projects.

I vote for Spring 2009 in somewhere relaxing.

I, too, have a certain love affair with my baby boy. He is my heart. Period.
Yours is adorable!!!! And as much as I love to look at pictures of other Mom's scrumptious little boys, I will be glad when you have your camera back!

I found your site through Angie's and have read through every entry. We have a new home...thus, a blank canvas and while I consider myself somewhat creative....HA...your blog is inspirational. I do not want to merely decorate our home, I want it to SING! And sing on a budget! Thanks for your blog. I am truly addicted!

That's how I felt with my third boy too, even though we planned it. I have had fairly easy pregnancies but three young boys is a challenge for me every day! You look like you do a great job with yours and I hope to follow in your footsteps. I'll be checking back to see more about your house and the Goodwill find.

Your little one is adorable! I've throughly enjoyed learning how to fix up our house on little money. You've inspired many an upgrade around here :) Thanks for sharing all of your ideas!

Bless you and yours,

Love the bed head. My 2 years old has it every single morning and stays that way til he goes to bed. I do try to fix it, no such luck!

I know this lady who is only 10 months older than her brother. It's fairly common than you think!

Your boys are all so cute. I would cry too if I found out I was pregnant with a three-month-old and a toddler too. For me, #3 has thrown everything in a lurch and I don't know how anybody still has their sanity with more than that, or can do more than just the basic everyday necessities (are showers every day a nessecity?). That said, I think Jennifer P. is Superwoman.

Aubrey said...

I can't wait to see all your new stuff, either, but I suppose you DO still have a family to take care of...

Your son is lovely! And i although i have never seen the Star before, i do think your son looks like him! I read your post with intrest. I too have had THAT cry, 3 times! Wow...did no one else think what I did, that you were going to tell us you were pregnant?

Maybe I have pregnancy on the brain--I just tested positive yesterday (this will be dc#6--the 3 girls are pulling for another brother, the boys (twins) aren't pulling for anything, since they are only a year old...lol).

Your son IS a cutie (of course, he comes from good stock, too!)
