I blogged about those a few weeks ago except I saw them on EightCrazy. Can you believe how cute and easy those are? I might do them for a wall in my room. Waiting for the canvas to got 50% off at Hobby Lobby! (Because I never buy anything there full price, if it's not on sale now, it will be next week!)

So cute. I have been lurking for a while, but that totally brought me out of my shell. This project has so many possibilities. I wonder if it would work to buy the cheap canvas' from Wal-mart, pick out all of the coordinating paper and then decopage (sp - I've never done it or spelled it) :) over the top. Love the tip about the black paper too. I am so uncrafty I wouldn't have thought of that. THANKS for sharing!

I saw this idea in a little flyer at Michael's - LOVED it and already bought some canvas boards for my daughters' room (at WalMart - Waaaaaay cheaper than HL or Michael's)! This one is definitely a pretty picture, as well!

I have a few 12x12 canvases that i bought for another project and never got around to. well they just got dug out of the closet and i am digging threw my scrap heap!
I was planning on doing something similar with canvas...but the styrofoam (sp?) is much more thrifty! thanks for sharing.

Great Idea!!! And I am so glad that you were able to get your computer!!! You were in my thoughts and prayers! I kept checking in on ETSY to find a certain one with a birdie or nest and it seems you were selling them faster than you could put them up. Way to go! Also, YOU are really a great role model for all of us by raising the money before making the purchase!

Yes, isn't that a great idea. It does work to do it on canvas and then decoupage over them. I "sampled" it. YEA..such simple fun to be had by all! We are easy to please.

i love that idea! can't wait to see the Nester's rendition.... but I think for the sides she should use ribbon....
I love how one diagonal has matching squares, while the rest is complementary but not symmetrical. My husband has a tendency to hate things that aren't symmetrical, but I think he might be okay with that because of the one diagonal.

I did something like this I had 2 pictures from Marshalls that were just on a board plaque and they no longer matched my daughters room but her bathroom is black and white so I spray painted over the picture black and set a sand dollar in the middle of each of them with my gg. They have a great pop to them!
I've been seeing this project float around for quite awhile but I still can't decide where to hang it in my own home so I hope you hurry and make it for your home so I can get an idea of where to hang them in mine, LOL

Oh, something like that might be great to put over my 2yo's crib. That way, if they fell (ahem--were pulled off by little fingers), it wouldn't be tragic. The wall stickers just aren't cutting it anymore.

I've been meaning to do that project for my living room. I already bought a sheet of styrofoam and even pulled out the papers I want to use. Somehow it got shoved into a closet and put to the back burner of projects. Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll pull that out this week.

I did this exact project in for my home. However, I used some free wallpaper samples I got from a local store. It looks even better than I imagined! And super-easy too!

You can also do this with a wooden frame, cheaply made and fabric.

Hey, cool project. I just saw this at an upscale decor store here, except it was actually painted. The lady saw me drool over the $60 a peice squares but I informed her I'd have to settle for scrapbook paper. Nice to know someone else thought so too.
PS. I have pictures on my blog of my lil' Sophie Claire, better ones on my facebook though... Oh, and I had my hubby help me hang my curtains higher last night Love them! Love them! Love you! I'll have to let you know how my spray painted table turn out too. Till next time all seven are sleeping at once.
