Will you see me at blissdom?

will you see that i'm much better on the blog than in real life?

will you see that i don't want to do anything without my sister?

will you see that i'm not as thin as my camera sometimes makes me look?

will you see that my hair isn't as thick as i wish it were?

will you see that i'm just a dork?

will you been seen at blissdom?

will you be taking that risk? letting us all see you, even the parts that are easy to hide in our digital world?

i cannot wait to see you. with all of your beautiful imperfections. because you know, it just doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.

and i cannot wait to embrace that with you.

see you in four weeks.

I so wish I was going to be there (if for no other reason than another great stay in the Hotel Preston - the place we ALWAYS stay in Nashville). Have a great time and don't forget to ask the front desk to bring a "fish companion" to your room!

Oh, Nester. I guess you have to be a blogger to attend, eh? No such luck for this girl. But, I thought I would comment here today since there are only two others and not 790 other posts! :)

I can't believe that that "other" blog has all those votes, even if MM is the kicker. I just checked it out, quickly, and was appalled. At least WE know who the REAL winner is, hu!?!? I've been faithful to vote though....:)Go "Chatting at the Sky"! You are da bomb!

Wish I could go to Blissdom! Too much to do around here with the husband gone all week. Sounds like so much fun!

Your NOT perfect? I don't think I can go then...

Actually, after your little post, I feel much better about going. I also feel better about my tight jeans this morning.

Thank you.

HOly cow.....I wasn't thinking about the timeframe. BlissDom is in 4 WEEKS! Yea! Can't wait!

I would love to go, but will not be attending. It'd sure be fun though. Maybe I could grab my other blogging friends and come next year. I'm sure you will all have a loverly time.

Ah man! I wish I could go! You all have a great time!

I'll be at Blissdom again. I attended the first one last fall having never met anyone there face to face. I want you to know that you and Emily helped me feel "seen" by welcoming me at your tables introducing me to others. So, thanks.

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again in a few weeks. What an amazing event it's going to be.

Not this year, no. Maybe next year. I would LOVE to be there.

You mean that my going to the gym at 6AM this morning so I look better by then, and now barely being able to type at the computer since my arms are so sore, doesn't matter to you? Well, good...cause I'm digging into my M&Ms then. :)

Wish I could...I don't even blog, I'd just like to go "celeb watch" ! (and yes, that would include you! ;-) ). But the far side of TN is too far from southern OK for me to make it (and leaving the husband with five under 9, homeschooling, and his job? Uhhhhhhhh...nope...lol.

But have fun enough for the rest of us who can only dream of it!

I am making it a priority to go next year. Too much going on at home this year. But you are so funny, all of us readers are probably thinking the same things about ourselves....
Have fun.

So, do we get an entry each time we vote? 'Cause I voted today! : )

I so wish I were going to Blissdom, but I just don't think I am. But having you and Jen and Emily and KIMBA only 3 1/2 hours from me, well, that might be an excuse for a road trip!

Oh, how I wish I could go!! What makes it even worse is that it's only a couple of hours away AND I have a free place to stay! Poo! I voted for Emily again today; I even emailed all my friends the link to vote for her, too. Those other blogs just stink, IMHO...

Wow. That sounds like so much fun, but who knows if I can make it.

I did vote for Emily, of course. Every 24 hours!

Such good questions? How'd you read my mind? First I was super excited. Now I'm half nervous/half excited.

It'll be my first blogging conference. Maybe I'll just watch you from afar.

I'm not going to Blissdom but can't wait to hear all about it! I know you will be fabulous.

I am voting as often as I can for Emily!

I'm thinking about it. Will it help us make alot of money from our blogs? Hubby says that is what I need to learn.

Karen said...

I really, really, really wish I could go. I talked it over with my husband and decided it's not the right time to leave him home with a preschooler, a toddler and a newborn.

Meeting you and Meredith would be priceless! Happy travels to everyone who goes. Will someone hug Nester and Meredith for me?? Thanks!

I think you're so brave to actually speak at BlissDom. I'm nervous and all I have to do is show up and sit in the audience!

Love this post! Oh, the pressure, or the pressure I'm creating for myself. I'm tempted to go tanning for the next 10 days, but I think I'll embrace my white wintry skin!

SO looking forward to meeting you.
