Whenever this shows up in my mailbox I get really excited.
Laryssa from L. Herbert Designs has created some wonderful end of summer Summer Shell Prints to help capture and remember those wonderful beachy summer memories from this year.
These prints are made on special paper. Paper that Laryssa tells you all about at her website. But it's really special I promise.
Love this one. LOVE IT!
The single shells are available as 5 x 7 or 8 x 10.

I love having art in my home that was created by a real, live mom. A mom I actually have met in real life. Did I mention this was affordable art? Priced at $7 per 5 x 7 this art is quite approachable.
These cluster prints are available in the 8 x 10 size.
And these too. Laryssa always asks me what print(s) I want. I wanted all of them but restrained myself and told her that I would just love the coral. Why oh why didn't I get the nautilus, the sand dollar, and that long spotted shell to go with it? I was trying not to be greedy.
Remember my feather and egg prints from L. Herbert? Remember how they sold out in one day? I opened up the frame and slipped the coral in right over a previous print, just for a seasonal change. Don't worry, I have a feeling she'll be offering something fall-y and wintery as well. I love to switch it up a bit while using the frames I already have.
Art like this is an inexpensive way to update the look of a room without over committing.
And I don't know about you but I leave my beach photos up all year around. The prints group seamlessly with beach photos and various starfish and washed up treasure. I will be displaying my summer prints all year around. I just need to be on the look out for more frames!

Wow, how beautiful! I am redoing my hall bath. It's going to be this gorgeous silvery blue with white, white, white beadboard and chair rail. I would display these beautiful creations proudly above the brushed nickel towel rack with the chocolate and blue towels I plan to display.

My gracious sister-in-law lets us stay at her beach house for free every year. I would donate a beachy print to her condo.
i'd give the prints to my dad, who has longed to move to the beach ever since he retired a few years back and just hasn't figured out which beach he wants to call home :)
I love the coral! I would use them in my "family room"/playroom/all purpose space.
They are gorgeous! I would put two 5x7's in our half bathroom near the front door. This bathroom has a beachy feel and guests would enjoy the prints too as they would also be visible from the front door. Thanks for the opportunity

I'd have to agree on the red coral being my fave! I've just repainted the entire common area of our home and want to get it finished (well, as finished as rooms ever can be really). So, I'd hang these prints on either side of my TV niche!

I would put one of these adorable prints on a new chest-of-drawers I just painted. My husband and I just recently moved from our first home to another state. So, I took an old piece of furniture from my grandmother's house, and we painted it the color of our first bedroom. We always wanted to remember the color.
The red coral would be to die for on that piece!

These are ah-mazing! I would put them in the front room of my house -- so all guests could enjoy. Plus, the beach print would coordinate perfectly with my grey-washed walls. So delicious! Because everyone needs a little beach in their life:).

I would use them in our downstairs bath - it's white and peaceful and is BEGGING for a little coral in it's life. And the new bamboo towels I've been drooling over would make perfect sense and I'd get to buy those, too! I love how this works. I'm sure I have to have them, win or buy!

How beautiful! I would hang the shell and coral studies in the bathroom at our beach cottage. It's painted a bright blue with brown accents. These would be perfect to hang in the "spot" that we're missing just a little something (and we've been looking months for just the right thing!)

I love these prints! If I were to win, I'd get the red coral and frame it with a turquoise frame to hang in my bathroom. It's turquoise and brown now, but I want to redo it with red replacing the brown.

Oh I know exactly where I'd use them... teeth are chattering just thinking about it! I don't live on the coast, not even near the beach, but I love so much about it... the colors, the way we feel so relaxed when we're there, the memories we make as we're there together. And did I mention I love sea shells? So I would proudly put these prints in my master bathroom with the walls painted the softest shade of blue, some burlap hung over the window with this pretty little sea star garland accenting it. Because a beautiful home isn't about fitting into some particular mold but instead it's about creating a place that's an expression of who we are and what we love... and I love the sea. And I love those prints, too.
We just painted the bedroom blue with white and the prints would be beautiful there...BUT ppl will see them in the family room where I have shells and driftwood displayed!!! I would LOVE to make that decision! Thanks!

OHHH, I LOVE these! I think that your coral print with the blue matting is gorgeous! I love a pretty mat. Anywho, I would put the prints in my dining room. I have a blank wall & I am going to paint over a huge frame that I got at Kirklands that doesn't quite suit my taste. I would put that in the middle & a print on either side. Seeing how I live close to the beach I would put them ANYWHERE in my apartment to remind me just how close I am to grabbing a towel, some sunscreen and hitting the sand! :)
I would either put them in the livng room for the summer and then move them to my kids bathroom which has alll kinds of beachy stuff in it.
I have two new 5 X 7 frames that I got for my birthday that would be perfect! I would put them in my new bathroom!
I'm in the middle of revamping the shelves in our living room with a beach theme & one of these would go right in the middle! I'm loving the red coral and it would be so pretty with our collection of shells, beach photos & sea glass we've collected over the years. I'm not done yet because I'm still trying to hunt down some reasonably priced lidded apothecary jars for all our sea glass.

I'm with you - that coral is gorgeous and I love how you offset it with the blue - gorgeous! These would be perfect tucked into my built-ins in the den.
Within this next year we will be moving to the Dominican Republic to do missions work. I would love to add these to my decor there and help me feel that I have a beautiful house there just like here. They would look great anywhere but maybe my bedroom or living room so everyone can enjoy.

These would definitely be housed on a lamp/shelf I have. It's a lamp with shelves underneath. Very tall an I need something to fil the shelves. Those would fit perfectly. I've only been married a month so I REALLY need some help with decorative pieces!

Those are so precious. Our beach house that we rent every summer was destroyed in Hurricane Ike, but I have some lovely pics of the kiddos at the beach just before the hurricane that I do keep up year-round!!

These prints are beautifully done. I would love to have the coral print to display on the sofa table my husband made for me. It's made of salvaged shutters and has a collection of shells resting on top. The coral print in a frame would be just the right addition to complete this tablescape.

Oh I am not sure where I would put the pictures because we will be moving as soon as this house sells. Hmmm, first I'd have to decide which prints I'd want!! Many cute options. But I'd probably put one in my office (for inspiration when I'm working, love the little blue bird with berry inspirational print). Though the sea urchin purple would look great in my purple bathroom.
Gosh...I'd put these on the wall over my couch...yes I know...it shouldn't be on the wall. Maybe one day...

If I won I would get the sand dollar and the red coral. Aqua and Red are my favorite colors, and I love the beach so it works well with my decor.
I would put them in coordinating frames and stick them in my entryway with my poster of the Outer Banks framed in an old window frame. I think they would look absolutely perfect.
I thinking they would go in my girls' room. They're 2 and 4 and I've started a redo of their room, and they need something a bit more grown up on their walls than the things that were once in the nursery.
They are just what I'm looking for for our computer/craft/exercise room (basically the everything-that-won't-fit-somewhere-else room). They would be perfect since our only decorations in here so far are a couple of framed beach photos of the kids.

I have a guest bathroom that
doesn't have much of a personality but that is until today. I would use the wonderful shell and coral pictures along with all the other beachy items I have picked up all summer long. Hopefully I will be able to perk up my bathroom. :)

ok, I know this isn't so inspiring, but since I spend a majority of my day here at the office....I would LOVE..LOVE.. a print that can provide a visual escape for me when I most need it.(like today would have been great..High Drama!!)

The red coral in an 8x10 would be perfect for a blank spot in my dining room which has a beach time.
