Coming to a blog near you

Well, being away from home all weekend and spending the day at your parent's house in the middle of the week can really take a toll on a girl's blog!

I haven't forgotten about projects and fun home stuff and I'll have a post up tonight with the next project. We've got all sorts of fun things to play with in the upcoming weeks including this fun fur, lampshades and wine corks.

Off to ejumakate my boys--see you later today and don't forget to sign up to win the necklace--the contest ends tonight!

Wow. Look at all those corks. I didn't even notice that's what they were until I read the post. I just thought they were the floor or something. It'll be interesting to see what you do with them!

I love wine corks. Several years ago my mother gave me bags of them (no, she didn't drink the wine...she found them at a garage sale..ha!)...I found a cool site online that gave ideas on how to make ornaments with them. Fun!

When I saw the fur, I thought you were going to tell us that you had adopted a dog!

How about using it as a trivet(a really pretty trivet)?

I've seen them used as hot pads/trivets on tables and counter tops. Just a thought...

My local bistro has a gigantic one of these. Cork bulletin boards? They need a clever name, but no matter what they're cute!! I love the red frame.
