Check out Show me your urns from Restyled Home for some urny inspiration. I heart urns

I love, LOVE what Fussy is doing or should I say not doing this Chirstmas. Keep that in mind when you are being inspired by these other posts....

I came across two fantastic ideas at Blissfully Domestic this past week...

Here's a fun idea about repurposing a boring closet to work as a mini mud room/eye catching storage area?

Want to paint your laminate counter tops? Now you can and it's easy and holds up to lots of use! I did it years ago but with haste and on a whim. This girl does it up right and it looks like stone!

And a few others that I loved...

Emily at Remodeling this life Brilliantly speaks the obvious It's Not Savings Unless You Save It.

Does your bathroom need a quick and easy pick me up? Lookie what Rebecca did!

Have you seen the Holidays By Hand shin dig? Some of my favorite bloggers: Small Notebook, Simple Mom, Almost Frugal, One of Three, Gidget Goes Home and Ann from One Bag Nation and Vintage Mommy have joined forces and collected ideas from talented readers to inspire us to make great junk for people this holiday season. Only they say it with much more class.

How cute is this hand print?

And Melanie gives step by step instructions on how to do this family wall. It's a little involved but well worth it!

And lastly, check out this easy project from Junk Camp.

This one's for me. I cannot wait to make these Oreo Truffles.

Commenting just because I love to be in the top 10. Since I never was in high school, you know. :) And how is your sis being so spontaneous again, and I am missing all the fun?

Love all the links and have you had those truffles before?! They are SO GOOD and very addicting. You also need a glass of milk with them b/c they are a little rich...but worth every bite!

Thanks for all of the great ideas! i made the truffles last year. Someone told me they are great without the chocolate too, so that's what I did. they did taste great, but were not so attractive if you're picking up what I'm putting down :) Stick wtih the topping

Love your blog! Those Oreo Truffles are the best! I make them anytime we go to a party. One thing I am going to try this year is drizzle white chocolate (colored red to be festive ofcourse)over the top! Sounds yummy to me!

I saw that oreo recipe from krafty and wanted to try it soon too! yum!

Just had an idea to share with you. You should totally do a garland linky party in a couple of weeks so we can see what everyone has done.

My oreo truffles looked nothing like that...what the heck!

Kimmon said...

you WILL love the oreo truffles...or oreo cookie balls as they're lovingly called in our home. :)

I dip them in melted candy coating instead of choc chips.

I also make them pretty by drizzling with a different color of coating than I've dipped them in (ex: dip in choc and driz with vanilla). Then put each one in an individual candy cup. Folks will think you've spent the big $$$ on treats for them.

Enjoy!!

LOVE those truffles! Thanks for posting! When I saw that truffle picture I just had to make them and they are WONDERFUL! The family wall is neat too, but I have no idea why she didn't do vinyl lettering...lol I would never paint all that by hand.
