Need a quick and inexpensive idea for your Thanksgiving centerpiece? Get you some tiny pumpkins and candles and do like Martha. Now that's a Martha project that even I can handle.
Loving this memo frame that Shannon from Bless Our Nest was inspired to make. I bet you could make one too with stuff you already have: an old empty frame, wire or twine or chicken wire and some type of clipping device {ring clips, clothes pins, ribbons, brads, safety pins}.
Wish I was having Thanksgiving at my house this year so I would have a reason to make this fast, easy and cheap {my three favorites} table cloth that Kimba made.
Manuela from The Pleasures of Homemaking made this sign that you could use year around.
And I love how Angie was so intentional with one of her daughters for a great cause.
Forgive me--I told you I'd do the fur wreath this week but it is taking me a long time to write--we'll do it on Monday! Get your fur {1/2 yard of long haired fur from a fabric store} and straw wreath form {half off at Hobby Lobby this week} ready!

I have been wondering what to do for Turkey Day table centerpiece. Hubby gets annoyed with anything on the table and will move any pretty object out of the way. :(
Hello Nester, great post as usual. I love the pumpkin/candle idea - doesn't take up too much room and can be moved easily. Did you see the monkey family postcard in the frame - where could I get me one of those????? That is soooo us.
I love the frame- I just bought some twine and some of those tiny clothespins from Michael's. I wanted to make a tiny clothesline to hang quilt squares on, but this might be a better idea! Thanks!

Also. =) We picked out paint for our new house in Nashville on Sunday. I'll have you know my living room is going to be Svelte Sage, and we were "this" close to doing the master bedroom in Oyster Bay (hi, Emily!), but opted to go over one shade to Rainwashed. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Hi Nester! I had to write and let you know that I mistreated my family room windows last nite-all because of you! I bought fabric on sale that I liked but wasn't matchy-matchy and the infamous circle clips (for rods-but none of that!) and my 1st set of upholstry tacks! I created the beveled effect not the flat and hung it high! Altho I shamefully used a hammer, I redeemed myself in true mistreating fashion and stood on my set of exercise steps (knew they'd come in handy someday!) Anyway-thank you! I never would have had the confidence, much less know-how to pull it off- they look awesome! Love-kel
Oh, it's on. I am so making me one of those precious memo boards with that ugly frame sitting in my closet that's never been used.

Crafty people are the kewlest people! Why doesn't my brain work to come up with original ideas. Well, I did think of a cute idea but I don't know if it was original or not (see my blog). I just made two of those frames for my kiddo's rooms last week! That is the exact same picture I have saved as my inspiration piece!
