Today I'm being reluctant over at 4 Reluctant Entertainers. If you haven't visited Sandy's blog before, it's a place designed specifically FOR Reluctant Entertainers like me.

Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, stories and so on regarding yesterday's post. As usual, y'all never cease to amaze me. You are full of information and funny ideas. I heart you all. We hope to move in the middle of June and yes, there are about twice as many windows as there are here. I feel a mistreatment coming on!

Monday, if all goes as planned, I've got something for you. Something exciting. Something free. You're gonna love it! I hope. I'll tell you more than you ever want to know about it on Monday.

The last of the tassels will be shipped out tomorrow. They are awaiting your love.

And if you are wondering what in the world that picture is up there with the upside down table and drums. I was moving furniture and I have three boys. Need I say more?

I just thought I'd let you know that the gold check fabric you have for your mistreatments is now on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I paid around $13.00 a yard for it. If you think you will need more to complete a room you may want to purchase it before it sells out.

Nester,
You have us very intrigued for monday. Also, please help June with her curtains. She needs you. And too, please tell us what to do when we want to put a piece of furniture away from a wall and have a lamp next to it and not have our 15 mo. old daughter trip on the cord. Not that that's me. I just imagine a lot of people probably feel that way.

What do you mean IF all goes as planned? Things always go exactly as planned, don't they?

I guess we'll see!

:) I like the mark of boys! Rock on!

Nester - in my house the upside down table would have immediately been turned into a hot wheels ramp. :)

Good luck with your move! We all can't wait to see you make it beautiful.

Hey there, I just read your reluctant entertaining advice, and I love it. I'm a VERY reluctant entertainer. In fact I haven't done it much because it seems like so much pressure! Thanks for your laid back ideas. I think you hit the nail on the head that when things are less than Martha Stewart perfect it puts people at ease and everyone can have a good time. Thanks!

Oh, I also featured a tablescape on my blog today that was inspired by your tablescape (and that good 'ol Home Book). Thanks!

I wasn't wondering about the drum and upside down table picture because my little boy does that with furniture all the time. And, we're not moving...he just uses my tables and chairs as part of his playground. Don't you love boys and their imaginations!

Squeeeeeee! More mistreatments? Fantastic! I cannot wait to see what you do.
So, does this mean your precious little house will be for sale on the cheap? Because I want it! I mean, sure, I could probably never live there (you know, the Army likes to send M all over creation and we follow), but I could rent it out until I could finally move in. I'd even let my renters paint the walls Tobacco Road!

Oh, goodie! I love it when you write how-to posts on mistreatments...can't wait to see what you come up with! :)

The picture of the drums was right below your comment on being a reluctant entertainer. I thought you were being cute telling us you were playing drums now!

I have three boys also, and my oldest son is teaching me to play drums. Because the noise isn't as bad when you're the one making it, I've found. Kind of.

I'm so glad things are working out for you. Don't feel bad about moving so much.. I've moved.. 4 times in 3 years haha. Now we are settled here until its paid off.. in 30 years lol. (we had a similar situation, the person we rented from SOLD the house while we were renting)

Things always happen for a reason, God never gives us what we can't handle. There is a lesson to be learned somewhere. :) I can't wait to see your new place! I'm so excited!

One of those tassles has my name on it. Can't wait to get it!

Wow, You always have a great outlook on everything. Sad to hear about the foreclosure, but what a wonderful opportunity for a great new house, new mistreatments, hopefully a new craft room and lots of fun and exciting rooms to decorate. Hopefully it is closer to family again too.
