I definitely can't live without my sewing machine. I also use a ton of that green flower wire...or whatever you call it. Especially for holiday decorating.
You forgot the internet! It is a fabulous decorating tool and gives me lots of ideas to expand on!

Some fresh flowers, preferable from my garden so they are cheap. Any room lights up with some flowers in them. Other then that, I only need good advice and encouraging words, and I have you for that. Thanks and greetings, M

I always seem to be pulling out my hammer and all my nails. I use it more than my husband...my mother-in-law bought me a pink floral handle "hammer" for Christmas b/c I use it so much!

Oops - I was supposed to put my fav. decorating tool. Well, lazy as I am, I have started hanging things up with tacks...yep, the ones you just get in the office supply store. Too lazy to find those hammer and nails, but I always know where the tacks are. :)
My list is almost exactly like your's, although I have never try to hammer anything with a high heel spike...definitely not above it, though... I'd have to include Stitch Witchery on my list. And definitely flowers, live or dried.

I can't live without my sewing machine, my glue gun, Hancock Fabrics, Hobby Lobby and my new nail gun. My husband got to pick a gift when he hit 5 years at the hospital he works at. He let me pick something and it came yesterday. I got a nail gun! YAY!!!!
BTW . . . I was at a prayer shawl ministry meeting last night (we knit shawls and blankets for people who are sick or have a new baby, etc.) I showed the ladies there your blog. I was told that their husbands were going to hate me for that.

Hello! Long time lurker here... that picture of the bird cage reminded me... I picked up a bird cage for FREE at a yard sale this summer... it's the old style, similar to the one pictured, but I don't have a clue what to do with it! I know that I like it... but how do I use it? I want it to look fabulous! Any tips?
Hmm, let's see...ribbon (you can always pretty things up with it!), those darn Dollar Tree birds (it's become an addiction), and this is going to sound so funny, but my husband. When I need a creative way to work on something, he comes up with it. When I need some encouragement when I'm feeling like I can't accomplish something, he encourages. Plus when I need something out of the attic or shop he goes in to get it for me. I'm afraid of spiders. *shivers*
This is not related to this post, but I totally missed your mistreatment party because life was crazy and I just couldn't get my curtains done. Peanut butter! Yes I love to eat it, but it also helps me hang my photos straight on the wall! You just dab a bit of pb on the back where the nails go and then you press it up against the wall. Now you can check if it is level. and then wherever the pb is on the wall that is where the nails go! hillbilly i know, but it works:)
I too need all the things you listed, but also I love to decorate with my APOTHECARY JARS! They are sooo versatile and make just about anything look pretty too:)
And, if you are a perfectionist like me then you gotta have a laser level for hanging just about any grouping!!! It makes the task alot less challenging

My putty knife. I abuse that thing horribly, but it's so handy. Just sharp enough to scrape without gouging. Just strong enough to pry and usually easier to find than the screw drivers (because my hubby doesn't usually touch my putty knife. Of course I use my glue gun just as often or more, but you already listed that ;-)
Oh how I love your blog.. It has been so great for me and some of my friends. You have a large following. I love my wire cutters. Can't live without those. I use those for my floral arrangements and wreath making.

All of the above, I also use that Poster Tack stuff alot. It's great to put behind a picture to make it level if it's a tad off. I also put it on a nail head and place a button on the nail head and hang a picture from ribbon. Also for that little noise my china cabinet dishes makes when I walk across the floor I put a little under the dish that makes the noise. It stops, maybe it would help if I lost weight or walked a little more softly across the floor.
The Internet and my mom...I need all the help I can get. It's just not natural for me. I'm trying though...

I don't know if this counts but here goes- my scrapbooks! I keep a bunch of "mini" ones in my living room in a basket. Whenever I have company they love to look at them. How is that a decorating tool? Simple- it totally distracts them from looking at my (usually) messy house and poor attempts to beautify it! HA!
I couldn't live without my level or my tape measure. They even travel in my purse with me. I should probably name them. Laverne and Shirley?! That tape measure is the kooky one and the level is all "knock that off kooky tape measure!"..... oh my it is too late to be blogging ;)!

I just started a series on redoing my dinning room for about $100 thanks to you. My little dog peeded all over my expensive curtains, twice. After my dh restrained me from killing the dog (who had a very smug look on his face and appeared to be lifting his leg again in a threatening manner) I realized that this was an opportuinity...no a gift and that I was gonna mistreat, no downright abuse the whole room.
